Let’s say the price is the same, which one would you guys pick.

The points I’m trying to bring up is, the 1070 ti will overclock and get the same performance as the stock 1080. But the 1080 can overclock and get just a bit better performance than the OC 1070ti. However the founders 1080 runs at a hot 80c at stock settings so the overclock will make it even hotter (possibly throttling it) and might be noisy.

What do you guys think about the trade Off? And does anyone have a founders 1080 that they OCed to give some insight?

Solution
1070ti and 1080 is basically very near to each other in performance, if both on stock.
Founder edition is not great due to the heat sink performance.
I would pick the 1070ti Aorus.

It is just...if you are not desperately in need of a new graphic card...well...the prices is a bit chaotic at the moment (even for second handed ones). It does not matter, which card you wanna buy. I would postpone the buying plan, if possible.
