Ok so I’ve just ordered one of these for myself along with a 2070super... Should have read the reviews before, I guess, becouse after doing so, I’m here to ask someone that maybe owns it if I should cancel the order.

Is it really a bad monitor for the price? What should I get instead? Would not want to give up on any of its features tho, except for 165hz.

Can the normal fi27q do 144hz, hdr400, 10bit color w freesync at the same time? Becouse if so, I will cancel the order and get that instead - much cheaper and my card won’t run most games on 165hz for sure.

So what should I do?

Do you really need HDR?
Acer VG271U is a $350 monitor with a 144Hz IPS 1ms panel at 1440p. It has freesync and not G-sync but G-sync works on most freesync monitors anyways.

If you live near a microcenter, you can get an XF270HU, which has basically all of those features except it has a 4ms response time instead of 1ms for $290 (but it seems they have stopped carrying it at every store except chicago and madison heights).

Both options have most of the features of the aorus monitor but for around half the price.
