I've recently installed the SSD on to my motherboard and fired it up without succes.
Here are my specs:
AMD Ryzen 5 3600 - Processor3.6 GHz (4.2 GHz) - 6 cores - 12 threads - 35 MB
Gigabyte X570 AORUS ELITE - moederbordATX - Socket AM4 - AMD X570 - USB-C Gen2, USB 3.2
Sapphire Radeon RX 5700 Pulse - Grafische kaartRX 5700 - 8GB GDDR6 - PCIe 4.0 x16
Corsair Vengeance LPX - GeheugenDDR4 - 16 GB: 2 x 8 GB - DIMM - 288-PIN - 3200
Intel Solid-State Drive 660p Series - Solid state gecodeerd - 1 TB - intern - M.2 2280 - PCI Express
I've updated my MOBO firmware and installed the lastest firmware that is ment for my SSD.
When i open my BOIS it shows the SSD and i can scan it for any errors. ( No errors detected with the long and short scan)
When i go to device manager it shows up and i can click on it. It says it works fine and no errors detected what so ever.
When i opent CrystalDisk it shows there to. And i can scan it without showing any errors.
Things i tryed:
- Trow away drivers and the SSD in the device manager menu and reboot
- Harddisk managment and see if there is a new disk to Initialise or unallocated disk space orrrr a partion without a drive letter. ( i've used EaseUS partionion software to without succes)
- Update all my software and firmware
- Use a Bootable windows USB drive to 'fake' reinstall windows to see if the SSD would show up there
I really have no clue if it's me or the hardware that is faulty.
Do you have any suggestions? thanks!
