Hi All,

I'm having a dilemma I have the above motherboard with F5C bios (latest) and i9 7920 and all latest Win10 updates as of yesterday.

I'm wondering if I should install this chipset update or if I have newer one installed already (this is from gigabyte website)?

Here is what device manager says

I'm just afraid this can cause some sort of slowdown with my machine if I update from the gigabyte website ? I'm totally lost with this. It seems newer IMEI versions have LOWER numbers?

I also think the latest Windows 10 Pro has slowed down a little bit after April 30 major Windows update. I noticed slowdown in video export by 3-4%.

Thank you all!
Alex

As far as i know, Intel Management Engine will not speed up or slow down your computer, so it should not matter which version you have. It's used by IT departments to manage many computers at once, not home users with one PC.
