Which motherboard to choose with Intel Core i5 8400?

I want to go for a full atx but that's not possible.

The only ATX that falls in this budget is H310 chipset. Please suggest.

Since I5-8400 can not overclock, you can actually choose almost any mobo that meets your requirements.

In this case the Gigabyte is slightly better because it has a very slightly better audio chip and a better networking chip (intel).

It also has two slots pcie x16 + 1 slot pcie x1 (asus has 1 pcie x16 and 2 pci2 x1 and more rear connectors (USB).

All this depends on whether you are going to use these functions.

I would discard any H310 because even if ATX would have fewer functions than these two MATX (for example all H310 have only 2 memory slots).

Yes, you are right. Gigabyte looks better comparatively in the same price range.
