When building my first PC, I made a stupid mistake and created a short-circuit with the RGB. (the case basically came with a sort of extension to plug into an RGB strip, but I accidentally plugged it into my motherboard's second RGB slot). When I rebooted the PC, there was some burning smell coming from the part with the Aorus logo (right above the USB header) and a red LED stayed on and the system would not post so I quickly powered off. Is it probable that the short damaged my other components?

Other components very unlikely.
