Hey y'all, hope you're all good!
I'm planning on buying a pre-built PC from a local certified store and these are the specs:
Processor: AMD Ryzen 3600 4.2GHz Turbo
Motherboard: Gigabyte B450 AORUS PRO
RAM: 16GB (2X8GB) G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4 3200MHz
GPU: Gigabyte RX 5700 XT GAMING OC 8GB
SSD: Adata Spextrix S40G RGB 256GB M.2 2280 NVMe
HDD: 1TB Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm HDD
PSU: Seasonic CORE GC-650 (650W) 80+ Gold
Case: AeroCool Shard - 4x120mm aRGB/Tempered Glass
My question is will be able to run the RAM with the actual 3200MHz speed because from what I was able to see, the highest supported RAM speed by this motherboard is 2933. I know it will still work, however, having in mind that I am pairing it with the latest Ryzen - 3600 (possibly 3600X, not sure with which one to go yet), will it get up to 3200 or will it cap at 2933 as per the motherboard's highest supported? I know that this processor requires around 3000MHz RAM speed for optimal performance.
What are your thoughts for this in build in general? My aim is to achieve 80-100+ FPS on all the latest games in 1080P Ultra Settings. I have a decent knowledge of these things, but I'm not even close to many of you elites out here.
Any advice is appreciated.
