Question Gigabyte B550 UD AC 1.2 PCIe lanes / m.2 support

The specs are as follows (from manufacturer):
1 PCIe x16 4.0 to CPU
4 PCIe x1 3.0 Chipset
1 M.2 CPU (3/4.0 x2/4)
1 M.2 Chipset 3.0 x2/4

Now many other boards divert lanes from one slot to the m.2 slots when used, but there is no mention of this in the manual.
Since these are kinda low specs for a b550 board, i could see how the 4 x1's are just "by default" rerouted to the m.2, where other manufacturers would have another 3.0 x8 or whatever, that can be switched.

I just need a sanity check, could this be how it works?
EDIT: i have decided against this board anyhow, so any more discussion is purely academic. I don't really care if i am right or not.

Yes, this is not an uncommon situation on many bottom of the barrel boards from the more budget or business chipsets. Even sometimes some of the lower end premium chipset boards are occasionally hamstrung in one way or another. This is often why it's worthwhile to pay a little more and get something a little more "mid tier". The UD boards from Gigabyte are usually generally observably lower quality and I try to get people to avoid them much like the ASRock HDV boards. For very basic mom and pop internet browsing machines or basic office machines, they may be fine, but that's about it.
