Hey all :) woke up this morning to begin working on finals and my pc has stopped booting. It has been working for ~7 months? Now it’s shooting out a red dram error code. Did some research and have attempted some things (listed below)

Parts list:
Gigabyte b650 Aorus Elite AX
Ryzen 7 7800X3D
32 gigs of g skill flare x5 (DDR5)
CX750M power supply
Radeon RX6750XT

like I said before I have attempted a few things:
I’ve reseated a single stick of ram in every slot,
Reseated cpu and cooler
Cleared CMOS battery

I haven’t attempted any bios updates since it seems unlikely to be that but im unsure what else to try

Edit: I checked my area last night for any power outages and there was nothing

Your motherboard has a Q-Flash Plus button on the rear. Use this guide;

in conjunction with the button.

It might be a corrupt BIOS.

CX750M power supply
For the sake of relevance, do you have the green labelled CXM unit or the grey labelled CXM unit?

As I wait for a reply I will try it again, but after the bios orange light turned off (took maybe 5 minutes, maybe 6 to do so) I waited for the pc to reboot as it did for him. It never rebooted itself, after a minute or two or no light activity in the bios flash area I restarted it myself to no avail. The error light was still on for dram error during the flashing process (I did take out my ram sticks as he suggested)

For the sake of relevance… green labeled or gray?
it is the grey labeled CXM unit

Oh edit for clarity!
I followed his instruction reharding the bin file, but kept a copy of the previous file on the flash drive as well. the bios update had many more files for me than him (boot folder etc.) I double checked my board revision as well.

Ok! I resolved the issue. For any unlucky people that may come across this thread dealing with the same thing as me, here was my solution:

1. QFlash a new bios update - I'm not sure which is the best to download (newer or older) as my original download look different, so I went back to an earlier version that only had 1 file in the zip and then followed instructions.

2. Unplug your pc from power, turn off switch

3. Remove the CMOS Battery and just leave your computer for 10 minutes
A great description of these steps (and my source of info)
This comment in the reply of the other guy explains the necessity of this and the next step better than I ever could. the TLDR is that after making motherboard changes, some of these require the CMOS to clear before it will boot, it is the same with Qflashing a new bios.

4. While the computer is unplugged, place the battery back in and connect the two pins that also clear the cmos

These on the B650 Aorus Mobo that I have are at the bottom right, just around the battery slot. Easy to find after removing the battery, it's labeled fairly well.

Hopefully with this documentation, you can resolve this for yourself. Good luck!
