So I have a brand new build, worked a few days but froze a lot so I installed an F13 BIOS update. AFAIK, the BIOS I had was F12. I updated through the APP Center downloaded from the download section in the product page of my motherboard. If I remember correctly, the page was on Rev 1.x and my card is a version 1.1 so there shouldn't be a problem. The APP Center utility flashed my BIOS which made me lag a bit and then it said I should restart, so I pressed the button. Problem now is that when it tried to boot up again no signal was showing on my monitor. Tried through the GPU and dozens of different RAM settings. 2 sticks, 1 stick, 1 stick in the DDR3_1, 1 in the DDR3_4 etc. Nothing is making it boot. What can I do? I'm really tired of my pc not working as it's only 4 days old and I really need some quick help please.

Solution
Alright, for some reason it actually worked. I did everything that you can find on previous threads (excluding the paper clip to override the primary bios chip method) and finally my sister wanted to use the plug so i unplugged and started using my laptop. I wanted to know why this didn't work so I set out to get a case speaker (found one from an old pc in the basement and stripped it off) and I connected it. This is like 1-3 hours after I unplugged the pc. I boot up and it beeps once and says "Successfully reset BIOS". If anyone is having the same issues, I'm very sorry for you and I hope you get the same result as I have.

But can somebody tell me what the hell just happened? One moment nothing is happening and 1-3 hours of being...
You are sure you chose the right motherboard revision? 1.1 mobo bios won't work properly with 1.0 boards.

Gigabyte has a dual bios in most of its boards. If your board has one, consult the manual on how to revert to the old bios.

Thanks for the quick reply bro, not sure how to switch using my card's dual bios. Gonna look in the manual but if anyone knows how to, it would be great.

Your board does have dualbios. Here is a step-by-step to use it and restore your BIOS:

Step-by-step

1. Press and hold power button.

2. system power on (no image on the screen) count five seconds.

3. hold down pressed power button and count more five seconds.

4. Release button and press again (like it power on your computer)

5. If procedures has been successful, motherboard is power on/off and on again with recover system on the screen.

this procedure can be used in all GIGABYTE models with Dual-Bios system.

Here is a video guide as well:

Nothing showing up on screen. Held down the power button like the guy did until it turned on and off. Then I pressed the power button again but still nothing.

But can somebody tell me what the hell just happened? One moment nothing is happening and 1-3 hours of being unplugged reset the BIOS? Can this be related to something I've done and if so please tell me what it is so I can repeat it later.

NOTE: Can I somehow pick this as the solution? Because no other solution really fixed it.
