Gigabyte G1 Gaming X99 Driver Missing

Hi there,

I am having some trouble with my motherboard, i have a unknow device (and it buggs the hell out of me). I don't know what device it is, and nothing seems to be missing (that i am using).

I have a Gigabyte-X99-Ultra Gaming (1.0) Motherboard, and i know the periphrial is on the motherboard, because i have checked every other piece of hardware. I have installed all drivers from the Gigabyte website, and all Windows Updates, along with purchasing DriverMax (only to try an get rid of this missing driver) without any luck.

What device is this, and where can i find the driver?

p.s. It is not the Thunderbolt driver, or the Intel Management Engine Interface (as google might imply), for i have uninstalled and installed them both now more than 2 times.

Related to the Smbus driver missing or not installed.


If it is, then the problem can be resolved by downloading the Intel chip set driver package for your motherboard.
