Hello everyone i have a Gigabyte GA-78LMT USB3 Version 6.0 i have got it to run AMD FX 4300 Overclocked it to 4.5ghz i had to up the vcore in the bios to 1.4200 then it runs stable when i run prime 95 but the VRMs get warm and the Chokes get even hotter so i have 2 intake fans in front 2 fans in top and one going out the back. the VRM heatsink doesn't burn me if i touch it for like few mins the chokes they almost burn my finger is it ok to run that way or should i get a fan on them? and if so if i can keep them cool enough to not burn my finger then is it safe to run like that 24/7 ? i just used the multiplier to get to 22.5 and vcore voltage and i turned off turbo core in case that matters does anyone know how much vcore voltage this board can handler 1.45v?

I would get a fan for those things, perhaps even small heatsinks. the cooler you can run them the better. also I would not raise that voltage more than 1.45. I threw heatsinks on the chokes of my Asus M4A79XTD EVO as at 1.7V they got hot, I also have a blower fan that I'll set up to run air down the heatsinks.

ok thanks for your advice i was looking at a few motherboards what one do you think would be good for amd fx 4300 and 6300 and even the 8350 i would like a motherboard that would be able to overclock a 8350 to 4.5-4.7 out of the tree motherboards what one would be best? #1 Gigabyte GA-990FXA UD3 R5 1.0 #2 ASUS 970 PRO GAMING/AURA #3 ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 thanks
