I was wondering which board is better for gaming. I will not be overclocking. Which board allows for better upgrading in the future. And any other advice would be greatly appreciated :)

As far as those two goes it boils down to personal preference and/or price. The Gigabyte won't OC any better with its 8+2 power phase design vs. the ASUS 6+2 digital. The feature set is almost identical. Construction is about the same quality-wise. Flip a coin basically.

Actually, you can tell by the VRM & Northbridge heatsinks. Only version 4 has the heatpipe connecting these two sinks. Earlier models had cheaper, non-heatpiped heatsinks.

If you'll inspect your link, you'll see the one you linked has the newer heatsinks (and is obviously labeled version 4 in this instance).
