Gigabyte ga-b85m-ds3h-a Ram channel B not working

I got new ram that's exactly the same as my old ram. I had my old ram in same slots as I put my new ram and the new ram worked. But when I try installing both pairs of 4gb for 16gb, my pc just keeps trying to start but shuts down and it continues to do this till I turn it off. I'm assuming the channel b slots are broken cuz when I put ram in tthem my pc refuses to start. But at the same time i though my pc just wouldn't recognize them. I am using 4 sticks of crucial ballistix sport xt ram. Anyone who may know a solution please help.

Like I said, its not the ram. I have tested the ram together in the first 2 slots and it works. None of the ram works in the 3-4 slots aka the B channel.
