Hi there,
I'm in a pretty sticky situation. I recently built a computer about 2 weeks ago for someone, and I've been testing it out and making sure everything works correctly. The day that I'm ready to package it up and send it, I power it on one more time and I notice that the motherboard no longer functions correctly. It turns on, lasts a second, then powers off. 3 seconds later, the process continues and it powers on then powers off.
To be clear, I have used this computer very reliably for a couple weeks and all of the components work correctly with each other. The last thing I did before this happened was plug in an extra hard drive and attempt to boot off of it before powering the computer off.
Any help is appreciated. Maybe in the end I should just return the motherboard and buy from a different brand... I'm starting to wonder if I should avoid Gigabyte motherboards in general (I've recently experienced problems with their Brix motherboards).
