gigabyte ga-h55m-ud2h issues

its a gigabyte ga-h55m-ud2h
4gb ram
i3 cpu
New 750w psu

Switches on to the stat screeen once i press start normal after a second after that it shuts down and then starts
Iv tried running it from the back up bios and tried removing tha small battery
Any help would be great

Can you get into BIOS and is is it stable. ie can sit in BIOS screen for ever.

Hi yes will stay in the cmos screen fine

Then the basic hardware is probably fine.

So its either a hdd problem or your windows software.

Have you tried to re-install windows?

Hi i lowers the clock as i think its be overclocked il run it further tomorrow to test it

Friend lowerd clock speed to 18 all was ok i was told to update bios to f11 as it was F04 it started up ok i turned it off then when it went to boot i had the creen bar at bottom scrolling (im running vista at the moment) then it shut down and carrys on the loop up to the green bar scrolling and shuts down on a loop

Unfortunately wont boot in safe mode

If so then you may need to reinstall your windows.

Sorry i dont know whst that means

download something like Ubuntu iso image and boot off either DVD or USB stick.

Run it live without installing to your HDD.

If this works then your hardware is ok (apart from your hdd)

If the linux image won't run, then you need a new computer.
