Does the Gigabyte GA-X99-UD3 Intel LGA 2011-3 ATX Motherboard support 64 gb or more ram of type: DDR4 and DDR3 of 2000MHZ or less or more. If you know the compatablity of the ram and the speeds please list it in the post and do not give an external link.

- I want to use my CPUs on board graphics with this motherboard: Gigabyte GA-X99-UD3 Intel LGA 2011-3 ATX Motherboard. Is this motherboard capable of using onboard video offerd by the intel cpu's which have onboard graphics capability.

- Does the motherboard support hot swap hard drives with bootable windows OS and linux partitions? I need the MB to have capability to boot hard disks up that have an OS on them.
I do not know how to further explain this. I dont know how to write all this in SIMPLE text. Please do not flame me i need a good answere. I am totoaly confused as there are many MBs here that just are not compatable with onboard video any more which jusst SUCKS!

Hey Ragahv, according to Gigabyte's website, the specs for RAM are as follow:

4 x DDR4 DIMM sockets supporting up to 32 GB of system memory
Support for DDR4 2800(O.C.) / 2666(O.C.) / 2400(O.C.) / 2133 MHz memory modules

As far as the onboard graphics, then if the CPU is compatible with the motherboard you shouldn't have a problem using the processors graphics.

Hot swap: to the best of my knowledge you have to make sure the BIOS is set to AHCI or RAID mode, but i've never done that to say for certain.
