Hi - I am looking at upgrading my PC but I am uncertain if I will have compatibility issues with my current motherboard (which I am not changing) and the new components I wish to purchase.
Currently have:
Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3R-B3 motherboard
Intel Core i5 2500K 3.30Mhz 3.70GHz Quad Core CPU
Geforce GTX 680 graphics card
16GB DDR3
120SSD 2TB & 3TB HDD's installed
I want to upgrade with
Intel Core i7 6700K 4.0GHz (4.2GHz Turbo) Quad Core Unlocked CPU
MSI GeForce GTX 970 Gaming 4GB
Seagate Barracuda 4TB ST4000DM000
Can anyone please tell me if I will have compatibility/conflict issues if I replace the current CPU, graphics card and HDD with the newer components?
Thank you
