Hi,
I upgraded to a single MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G in my Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD4-B3 motherboard a few years back (From 2 x GTX 560 in SLI).
At the time I had to upgrade to the latest BIOS (UEFI U1E) which also happens to be marked as a 'Beta' BIOS. Anything else resulted in a failure to pass POST, and having checked today, there is no more recent BIOS :/
A few weeks ago I purchased a second identical GTX 970 with a view to going back to SLI, but once again I'm getting failure to pass POST with both cards and the bridge fitted.
The cards work fine when fitted individually, so it doesn't appear to be a faulty card.
I'm beginning to think that maybe it's time to buy a new motherboard but that really means a new processor and RAM at this point and I'm trying to avoid additional expense.
Any help and advice appreciated
