Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 is causing my games to freeze.

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 is causing my games to freeze, and sometimes the games cause my computer to blue screen. And i know it's not be pushing my computer to hard, because i has also happened when watching a tree burn down in minecraft.

I have a
500w PSU
AMD bulldozer 4100 (overclocked to 4GHz
8 GB of RAM

Please help, I fear there is a problem with the GPU

500W is enough for this so lack of power isn't the issue. Did you make any recent changes? Has it been stable for a while?

Could you state the exact model of the psu?, bad psu's can have unstable voltages and hence bsod's

Clean the drivers and reinstall. Goodluck!
