Gigabyte GeForce GTX 960 with this setup. And how would it fair.

A GTX 960 will fare well in that rig and will be a reasonable upgrade from GTX 650. And also will be handy in future (say you upgrade to an AMD Zen rig or Intel platform down the line). To be honest, the CPU is slightly (very slightly) under-powered for that card, but not to the point of bottle-necking it.

You can go for the GTX 960, by all means!
