GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2070 GAMING OC higher temperatures after bios update and do i keep warranty with bios update

hello,

I just updated my Gigabyte GeForce® RTX 2070 GAMING OC 8G bios from f5 to f6. Now my temps went from 67 to 70 thus my fans are spinning faster. I think that the voltage is a bit higher too. the bios description said: Optimize TGP setting. Is this a good thing or should a flash it back to f5?

If I update the bios do I keep my warranty?

I'd leave it alone. 70C is a good temp for a GPU.
...and I don't see any good reason to change it back.

Thanks for your answer.

I asked the store where i bought it about the warranty and they said that updating the bios is a risk, but if the update succeeds the warranty Will continue.

My general rule as far as updating the BIOS of anything...."Only do it if you need to".

I believe they increased the power limit with this BIOS upgrade. Means you can probably hold the boost clock up longer, but it also makes the card run a little hotter.
