Gigabyte gtx 1060 windforce vs G1 gaming

Hey guys,

I have to decide between the Gigabyte GTX 1060 Windforce and G1 gaming. The latter costs twenty bucks more where I live. The specs are almost identical, so my question is: is it worth it or am I paying for the term 'Gaming' in the name of the more expensive one? Thank you.

you're paying for the word. The speed difference between the two will be invisible to you during use.

Also gaming has RGB spectrum in case you have case with side panel and you like modding it.

I have the 1060 windforce version (no leds) it runs great, very quiet / cool and over clocks pretty well though its not needed to max out 1080 games. I got it on jet.com for 200 after the 15% off your first 3 orders promo code. I'm sure the G1 is as good or better but I wouldn't know just offering my 2 cents on the windforce version for what its worth.
