Gigabyte gtx 750 ti can run without 6 pin connector?

I bough this graphics card yesterday and i can t find a 6 pin connector to my motherboard or to power suply,can my graphics card GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 750 Ti OC WindForce 2X 2GB DDR5 128-bit run without a 6 pin connector.

P.S:My motherboard is compatible with the graphics card,graphics card needs pci express 3.0,my motherboard have that 3.0 version so please answer to me.

I cant find how to connect those 2 6 pin connector,one to graphics card and the another to.....cand find it

It would look like that and don't worry about the "2" dangling, that's just there in case your gpu needs an 8pin.

Watch language, Tomshardware is family-friendly. If the card needs to draw more than 75W, it could shut off. It's not hard to plug a cable in.

You could always get a new PSU if its possible, although for the time being you should be fine as it is but a future upgrade is definitely an option you could look in to.

So you have to plug the 6 pin connector to Power supply and the gtx 750 ti? And if yes, can I use the 6 pin cabel that comes with the graphics card?

I have the same card as you but have the 6 pin plugged in. Some 750ti's don't have pcie power cable connections but when they do they're normally for extra overclocking headroom or they're designed with it in mind and need it, so I'd imagine that you will need to get a power supply that has at least 6 pin. You could try to boot up without it but i don't think it will work.

Yea man i boot up,graphics card work,vents are working but i need to buy a dvi cable because i have an vga one

Is it still working for you? because i have a asus gtx 750 ti-oc 2gb plugged into my pcie slot but no 6 pin plugged into it and my motherboard does not even recognise it

If your card requires a 6-pin PCIe cable you need to plug it in. Many cards will detect if it's not plugged in and then won't work at all until it is plugged in.

I can confirm the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 750 Ti (GV-N75TOC-2GI) requires a 6-pin connector, without that it will refuse to boot
