Gigabyte GTX 760 Problems

Hi All !

I have a problem where random pixels on my display flash green, this happens regardless of tasks; watching movies, playing games or just casual use. After a while the card gives up and the display goes black, I'm then prompted with "Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding " Event ID:4101.

I bought the card back in Sep 2013 from Ebuyer, I tried twice to RMA the card, both times they got back to me saying its working perfectly with no problems.

It seems to be completely random as to when the issue occurs, I could be running my pc for 6 hours straight without any problems. The next day 20 minutes in i'll start to see the flashing pixels, then eventually the black screen and warning.

I have tried everything within my field of knowledge and thought maybe you guys could share some insight. Thanks in advance, Tom

What is your PSU? The problem maybe from it.

"OCZ ZX Series 850W 80+ GOLD PSU" , a friend suggested the PSU could be the problem, i have no idea how to rule out the problem part though.

Try to use DDU to uninstall the GPU driver http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html After that reinstall the nvidia and intel gpu drivers again. I think the problem is from the driver instead of the PSU.

Also try to update the intel chipset driver https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/20775

May try to use the onboard intel HD3000 to make sure the monitor is OK. Or try use other PSU if you have one.
