The G1 Gaming is most likely the best, but I don't know what you mean by "standard." Are you talking about "Reference GTX 970?"

G1 is better than normal Gigabyte card. It has better clock speeds, can OC better, and better cooling system. The premium for these features is worth it if you take advantage of them.

The G1 seems to just be a higher clocked 970 , and seems to have the same cooling, I myself would get the standard and OC it myself, you will almost assuredly get better results and spend less
