I've spent hours searching forums and such and been reading reviews. I got this MB brand new for $100 so I really can't complain, but my question is:

I've noticed people saying that if you want the best performance with overclocking then you need to go with a Mobile Proc, but how do I know if my motherboard's bios supports them or not?

And if not, where can I find a bios that will allow me to put one in without having it run at a 4X multiplier?

Keep in mind I haven't put my system together yet. I'm trying to get all the information first. Trying to decide whether I should buy an AMD 64 2800+ or an AMD 64 Mobile 2800+

Thanks for your help!

No way, Jose' unless Gigabyte specifically states that this board will support the DTR solution. Stick with a regular A64-3000+ and you'll be happy you did. Horrible problems with people trying to stick a mobile 64 in MSI boards, and, this is after they were told that it would work!
