Question Gigabyte M27Q weird dead pixel issue

Two pixels in the top left are dark when in Windows desktop or other apps, but when i run a pixel test they show the same colour as the rest of the screen (although they do switch to the new colour quicker than the rest of the screen in one particular test). On Raspberry OS desktop they show as constant white.

Mind sending a picture? causes of this vary from dead pixels, stuck pixels. Dirt/dust getting on the monitor during manufacturing, etc.

Thankfully it was in warranty so i RMA'd it. Bit strange that the pixels would change under some situations but not others though. Thanks tho

Hello! I have the same problem with the same monitor. I have two black pixel in the upper left corner. But it is really strange because the pixels change color during the pixel test. I also notice that the stuck pixel disappears by activating HDR.
Your RMA'd monitor have this problem too?

Found the solution! This is a firmware related issue. You only need to go back to F01 firmware. You can find it here https://esupport.gigabyte.com/FileUpload/Answer/2021/3/1067191/M27Q_PMP_FW_F01_0723.zip . You have to create an account to download the firmware.
