Gigabyte m61pme-s2p and memory support

Hello,
I just bought this gigabyte m61pme-s2p m/b and was wondering if anybody knows if you can use pc-5300 reg eec ddr2 memory with this m/b?

If the board uses ddr2, then try it, but I wouldn't order ecc. Most boards don't need to use ecc memory and may not work with it.
