Hello,

I just built my first PC with the help of a friend. I always used the static wrist strap while I was installing parts. When I tried turning on the PC and I heard a medium 'pop' (and the PC didn't turn on). Then 2 lights come on on the motherboard. According to this photo http://img137.imageshack.us/img137/351/0138i.jpg
the DDR Phase light was orange and the NB phase LED was green.

I was told to unplug things from the motherboard to see what's malfunctioning. So I removed the rear case fan and the sound cord which comes from the front of the case. Then my PC starts up. BUT there are 10 lights on the mobo now. 6 from section B (from top to bottom they go red, red, yellow, yellow, green, and green) and 4 from section C (which went from NB phase up it went green, yellow, green, yellow).

After having the PC on for a little while the lights went off.

I installed the drivers and midway through installing Steam the PC shut off.

ALSO while the PC was on I checked "my computer" and my second HD wasn't showing. Instead a floppy drive showed up.
I know these are a lot of issues but any help would be greatly appreciated.

My PC Specs:
Intel 17-930
Gigabyte x58a-ud3r
XFX ATI 5830
6gig OCZ gold ram
Win 7 home premium 64bit
Samsung Spinpoint 1TB (doesn't show up during normal usage)
Seagate barracuda 500gig

My PC was performing well for a bit. Then it blue screened and said "Bad_Pool_Header". It only did it once early in the day (like about 11am). Later in the evening the PC just shut off while I was playing Battlefield Bad Company 2. I tried turning it back on and nothing. My Power Supply died! You think that could have caused the blue screen and the other issues? Thanks!
P.S- My second HDD is showing up now. It was being partitioned.
