ASUS' stupid armory crate (or whatever the name is) updater has to be disabled via the bios as well. Sure its not broken today, but tomorrow? Who can know if all of these hard to disable all access passes to our gear will be compromised either knowingly by the manufacturer, due to their negligence or some other bad actor? Actually its yes. Always yes.
 
Where is "APP Center Download & Install"? I have B650M DSH BIOS 6a and can't find any options that might have such option in BIOS screen.


Eclypsium recommends users disable the "APP Center Download & Install" feature inside the motherboard's firmware.
 
Did I understand correctly that the threat exists only when we update the bios from the UEFI level using internet download? So there is no threat when we update the bios manually from a flash drive?
