Hello guys
My rig build got delayed because of my paycheck. In the meantime, price of graphic cards dropped nicely. I can find few months old 280x for 300$ with warranty and everything, it's +400$ in the shop. First I was gonna go with r9 270x, but for basically 50$ more I can get 280x, so it's no brainer.
For 300$ I can get Gigabyte R9 280x 3GB Windforce OC rev.2 with BF4., 2 months old.
I can also get for same money Asus R9 280x 3GB DDR5 but doesn't come with BF 4, or for like 20$ more Sapphire Toxic R9 280X 3GB GDDR5. Since Toxic one also doesn't come with BF4, and it's already 20$ expensive, when I buy BF4 it will be 50$ more expensive than Gigabyte one, and also comes with 2 year warranty compared to 3 years from Gigabyte.
Which one would you pick? I am kinda pointing towards Gigabyte because of BF4,which saves me another 30$, and its' rev 2. meaning a bit better than first version, right?
My PSU is 500w (1.5 years old)http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/psus/2009/04/02/ocz-modxstream-pro-500w-psu-review/1
I don't know is this enough for 280x?
In few few years I might get another 280x to be able to play newer games on high settings, instead of buying new GPU. How strong PSU would you recommend to be able to power 2x 280x in the future(And I might OC my 3570k to keep up)? Since it's kinda pointless to buy 600W now and then change it again in 2-3 years.
