Gigabyte GA-M720-US3 Mobo. AMD Phenom II 955 Black Edition CPU. BIOS v.F6.
I have tried to upgrade my RAM capability from 6Gb (2x Kingston HyperX KHX8500D2K2/2GN and 2x KHX8500D2K2/4GN) to 16Gb using the recommended 4x Samsung M378T5263AZ3-CF7 4Gb but the POST message displays there is a problem in the BIOS:
Warning! Now system is in Safe Mode
Please re-setting CPU frequency in the CMOS setup.
I can Boot with just two RAM's (8Gb) installed and also swapped them out for the other two and it still Boots ok, so it seems the RAM's themselves are ok.
Could someone walk me through what I need to adjust in the CMOS please?
I am not keen on fiddling about in the BIOS as I am unsure of what some of the settings are and having more than one name for the same thing on occasions.
Thanks in advance!
Old Git... but learning!
