Hello i want to make a curve for my gigabyte b550 gaming v2
ryzen 5 3600x
16gb ram
5700xt power color
hyper 212
i wonder if i have to select on my coolers between cpu or sistem 1 temps

What is the reason for "making a curve"?

Specific problems or requirement? What temperatures are being measured?

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition (original to build, new, refurbished, used)?

Disk drive(s): make, model, capacity, how full?

How many fans now?

Existing case and fan arrangement? Air flow directions?

If possible, take a couple of photographs and post here using imgur (www.imgur.com).

If you are using the option on one fan header to implement a custom "fan curve", that curve applies ONLY to that header and its fans. Then the question to consider is: WHAT is the fan cooling? IF it is the CPU chip cooler, then the CPU_FAN header VERY likely does NOT allow you any choice of which temperature sensor to use. IF this header and its fans cool the case, then the header always should use the motherboard general temperature sensor, and NOT the CPU internal sensor. SOME mobos have additional sensors on specific components as a choice, but those normally are to be used only for a header where you have aimed its fan to that particular mobo component.
