I am currently using a gigabyte Mobo Gigabyte 970A-DS3P with an FX-8350 and want to switch Mobo to an Asus AM3+ one, how would I do this? Uninstall all Mobo drivers? reinstall Windows? Also if I had to uninstall windows how do I back up my stuff?

Thanks
Ethan

after ever major hardware change like this it is recommended to do a clean reinstall of windows to avoid any problems.

depending on how much inportent data you have you could use a USB flash drive or an external hard drive to copy all you data to

also depending on the OS you have you may need to purchase another copy of windows like if you have an OEM version of microsoft windows

So i have 2 drives so shall i move any important stuff there then move the cpu ram and stuff then clear the ssd and reinstall windows

correct. move any important data (programs cannot be backed up) over to your other drive. when doing the reinstall make sure you only have the SSD (or whatever drive you are going to use for your OS) connected during it.
