I just finished building my computer now and I'm having an extremely difficult and frustrating time trying to get my motherboard to detect the RAM speed I installed. I understand that it auto detects 2133 for the sake of compatibility but since I didn't buy this speed I don't want to be stuck at it yknow? I would greatly appreciate some help in the matter!

I tried setting the XMP profile and I'm also at 4.4ghz overclock :/ a screen telling me that It can't boot because something doesn't match the hardware or whatever. I'm very new to all this stuff so it's sort of scary to fiddle with

Check and make sure you have the latest BIOS, mobo makers are pretty much constantly updating the BIOS for compatibility with sets of DRAM as they come out. If you have the latest, or get the latest and no joy, let us know what CPU and what's the actual model # of the DRAM
