Gigabyte Z370 gaming which sound drivers to instal?

What are the best sound drivers for this card?
Sometimes I get a bit of a delay in sounds in games.
Also Nvidia wants to instal sound drivers when installing video drivers, should I also instal Nvidia drivers?

Windosw 10
GTX 1080

Which Z370 gaming board, there is likely on one sound driver for your board on gigabytes site.

The nvidia audio driver is just for audio over HDMI or display port, if you say have a TV or monitor with speakers you want to use. If you don't install it you want have any audio over HDMI or any other display connection.

I have speakers, dont use the monitor for sound.
Also play games with Oculus rift. (HDMI port is being used by Oculus headset)

So in this case, should I delete the drivers of the Nvidia sound?

If you are not using it then I guess you can, it wont make any difference either way. I dont use monitor speakers either but I never felt the need to delete the nvidia audio driver.

I was having some slowdowns and issues with sounds in games, was thinking it was because the Nvidia drivers were conflicting.

What can the problem be then?
