Question Gigabyte z390 master & Intel I9 boot issues

Brand new build using Gigabyte Z390 master MB and Intel I9 cpu not booting. Have tried known good PSU, multiple sticks of compatible ram, triple checked all power connectors and cooler install. All that happens is the cooler fan spins for a second and then nothing. No code shows up on the display and no error beeps. This is the second MB and cpu. Both have done the same thing. Have removed battery to clear CMOS and still nothing.

Corsair RM1000x psu.
I breadboarded it with just the psu, MB, Intel I9 cpu and Corsair hydro series H115i pro cooler and Corsair dominator platinum ddr4 3200 2x 16 gb. Used the power button on the MB. There should be nothing else needed. Actually you don’t even need ram to at least get a warning beep. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

motherboard might need bios update to use the i9

Problem solved. It was a bad psu 24 pin cable.
