Question Gigabyte Z690 Aorus Elite AX DDR4 works well but only able to get it started with QFLASH ?

So first off, I'm pretty nooby with PC builds, I'm sure I did not purchase the best or even most sensical parts for this build.
With that being said, I would still be grateful for some help..

Components:
13600k
Gigabyte Z690 Aorus Elite AX DDR4
RTX 4070
G.Skill 4x16GB 3600

Problem:
The only way I can get the PC to work is by pressing the QFlash button on the motherboard (With a USB with the BIOS file plugged in). If I do this, it performs the QFlash, and then the computer works great. I can game or do what ever, perfectly fine. Until I turn it off.

If I attempt to power on the PC by pressing the Power/Reset button on the motherboard nothing happens (Case is not being used while it ships).

Attempting to short the switch with a screwdriver does nothing.

I have not attempted anything with the CMOS yet.

An interesting thing I should note is that when I went into the BIOS, the memory mhz was incorrect, it was listed at 2666mhz. The memory I purchased was 3600mhz. Maybe this is irrelevant.

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

reset the BIOS

which PSU are you using? all connected on both ends? PSU and motherboard ?

are you really sure to use the correct pins to power on? or which pins are you shortening?

which BIOS did you install? latest would be F27

try using only one RAM stick in dimm A2

take some pictures and upload to imgur.com, maybe we can see something odd

Thanks for the advice, I will reset the BIOS tonight.

PSU is a XPG Core Reactor Modular PSU: 80 Plus Gold - ATX - Fully Modular Power Supply - 10 Year Warranty - 750 Watt

I tried to short the power reset pins direct on the mother board. I also tried with the front panel pins. None have worked. Again it will only power up if i press the QFLASH button with the appropriate USD plugged into the BIOS FlashBack USB port. Once it flashes the BIOS it works perfectly fine unless I shut it off.

I installed the most recent one. F27

Ill try out the RAM stick idea and take some pictures tonight.

Thanks,
