Hi,

I noticed the debug LED on my Gigabyte MB shows "A0" every time I finished boot up on my newly built computer. Bascially, it flashes random numbers during boot up but then stays on A0.

Everything on the computer seems fine (except some times BOSD... see this post... http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1660436/build-bsod-random-times-dmp-crash-reports.html)

How do I fix this problem? At night it's annoying to see red lights on my computer. I prefer total darkness...

Spec for my new computer:
i5-3570K
Sapphire HD 7970 Vapor-X 3Gb
Gigabyte Z77x-UD3H
Corsair Vengeance (2x4Gb) 1600LP
Seasonic X650-KM3 PSU
Samsung 840 Pro 128Gb SDD
Hitachi 500Gb Harddisk (2 years old)
CM Hyper 212x

Thanks.

I know it is unable to turn off. But I thought "A0" is an error code and the MB thinks something is wrong?

I mean, if everything goes alright, the MB debug LED won't display anything right?

A0 is not meaning some actual error on your motherboard but probably bios read something incorrectly .. you can check to clear cmos and update bios as possible to the latest version and see if there is difference.

A0: IDE initialization is started
