gigabyte z87-ud4h smart fan

So I'm using gigabyte z87-ud4h motherboard and I'm trying to control fan speed with easytune smart fan. I went to advanced and set the appropriate fan speed at certain temp, but I don't seem to see it speed up in high temp. Anyone else using this utility ?

I've got a similar story. Are your fans 3 pin or 4 pin?
