[SOLVED] Give me some opinions

So I'm working on a retro build and I wanted some opinions. So tomorrow I have three video cards showing up for this build. I bought two xfx 8800 gts extreme editions for sli which was my first option. But in searching for video cards I ran across an Evga 8800 gtx still sealed in it box brand new which I couldn't resist. So now I can't decide and looking for the community to help. Do I go with the 8800 gts sli and shelf the 8800 Gtx as a "Grail" or do I unbox the GTX and run it instead and shelf the GTS cards in a display.

Not SLI is better, less power, less mess, less issues with support. You bought the GTX, what else are you going to use it for?
