[SOLVED] Glitches On Screen When Overclocking GPU

Hey. When I overclock my graphics card to more than 400 MHz memory clock, it shows a glitch on the scree and the PC completely freezes and I have to restart it. Why does this happen?

My PC Specs:
Motherboard: Intel DG31PR
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo e4600
Graphic Card: Geforce GT 710 2Gb Ddr3
RAM: 4 Gb Ddr2

Yes, what is happening is you are pushing the gpu memory clocks higher than the memory chips can handle stably at the voltage or temperatures being used / reaching.

core 2 duo e4500
gtx 260
6gb ddr2
happened to me too you just have to lower you clocks

You didn't win the silicon lottery my friend. EDIT: Lol i've read now you're trying to oc a 710. You'd have better luck running a marathon underwater.
