No! The slider is but ONE method of adjusting the price... CLICKING on the displayed price is another. You may as well get the first 8 games for a single cent... if you want to. Just click on the 0.99 and change it to 0.01 ;P.

they need to do this with modern titles... COD for 10 bucks - campaign only, 30 bucks MP only, 45 for both... and then maybe things like "triple exp foir a day" for 5 bucks, or wep attachemnt unlocks for 3 bucks, or weapon camo unlocks for 1 dollar.

Too bad theres stlll no Linux support by GOG. Made a couple of purchases from them in the past, but stopped now that I use Ubuntu almost full time.

Interesting though that the current way to sell games digitally is through sales. If the future keeps up like this, I'll be a happy gamer.

Freespace + Expansion + Freespace 2 is worth 34.99 alone. Forget "game of the year" it's "game of the decade".

Use the Synaptic Package Manager (or whatever it's called; I use Arch Linux) and install PlayOnLinux.

You could do that, or you could decide to pay the respective owners of the titles more than a fraction of a cent for games you'll probably get at least 10 hours of enjoyment out of.

lol i didn't think that i would ever see those titles ever again (descent 1,2,3 freespace and freespace 2).

I have been playing those games all my life. Still remember when I got home from elementary school and got right on my pc to beat dr. dravis's personal robot guard in descent (descent 3 level 17 part 2 to be exact ;).

anyway, all of the descent games are the best period. freespace is awesome, too. Make sure you play blue planet, easily the best scp out there (i believe scp made it on game informer last year)

just buy them. best ever. hands down.

[citation][nom]blackmagnum[/nom]How about searching for 'abandonware' on google?[/citation]

I can't speak specifically for the listed titles, but GoG usually does an excellent job of making sure what they sell runs on systems today, which is more than I can say for even steam, who will happily sell antiquated stuff that does not run properly. abandonware sites usually have zero support.
