I have been into computers for years and probably don't know as much as I should but still enjoy them very much. I also think my knowledge of computers I would say is still at the beginner level. I am currently in the Military and looking to finally finish my college and I know I want to do something in computers but not sure really what exactly I want to do in the field. I would like to know more about the systems and the machanics of the computer. So I was thinking about something like a BS in Computer Science and get into ITs. Now that I seem to be rabbling on, I just wanted know what people's input on what everyone else thinks since I am still new to everything.

CS is a bit high for just an IT job. If you like math, CS is great, is that engineers take for programming.

Working with computers can get very repetitive, so it is best you know what is "Fun" for you. The last thing you want to do is get 5 years into IT then suddenly want to change career paths.
