Going from an R9 280x to a 1070, will this system bottleneck?

MSI R97 Gaming 5 Motherboard
i5 4670K CPU
H75 CPU Cooler
Gigabyte R9 280X GPU
16Gb RAM
2 SSDs

The case is a HAF 912 looking to maybe upgrade soon

I am thinking of upgrading to a 1070 but I am unsure which card to go for? I was hoping to complete a sort of red theme with my PC but any other card is fine, is this card ok as some sites say it is discontinued.

In the future I am looking to upgrade to a 144hz monitor.
I currently game at 1080p

there shouldn't be a bottleneck with that CPU, you'll be fine with the 1070.
if you want a red themed build then definitely go for the MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X, my friend has it and it looks really cool with the red leds. the 1070 will be able to do 144Hz gaming.

Thanks, that card is a bit on the expensive side to what i can see -£400ish,

what about the £320 one posted, is that ok?

i wouldn't go for a single fan blower type cooler, they are a bit noisy and run a bit warmer than dual fan cards. only buy such type of cards if:
1) you are doing SLI/crossfire
2)you have a small case with low airflow/less fans
