Going from laptop keyboard to PC keyboard - wish to find similar feeling

I'm building my first PC and it's going well. I've heard of the various types of switches that mechanical keyboards use but haven't experienced them side by side (to my knowledge). I loved the feeling of my ASUS Vx7 keyboard but can't find the specifications for it (switch colour etc.). Any help in finding a PC keyboard that will feel the same way would be appreciated.

The ASUS keyboard felt very soft, light and didn't make much sound. I also never had any ghosting issues with it. From some mediocre research, it seems like maybe cherry Red switches are the closest in described feeling but I have no idea whether this is an accurate guess or not.

I am looking for a keyboard under $120. I've been looking at backlit and mechanical keyboards so far.
These are the keyboards on my shortlist so far but I am willing to go for something completely different if it will replicate the feel of the ASUS keyboard more effectively.

the safest looking option so far

These two are flashier options and come with hand rests which I suspect I'll want. However, if they don't feel right there's no point.

The cheapest option and the one I am least sure about given its brown switches.

Solution
I think the Corsair k70 is the best option now. Going from a membrane keyboard laptop to a mechanical desktop is hard but I think you'll get used to it. I would go with the Corsair k70.

If you want a similar feeling to a laptop keyboard then check out some membrane keyboards. That's the type the laptop will use. They're usually cheaper too.

Thanks for the answers both of you. I have decided that having only ever used a laptop does not necessarily mean I can't get used to a mechanical keyboard. That being said I agree with you Lekingmoonya that the K70 is a good looking keyboard and the red switches will hopefully make the transition a smoother one.

Good to hear! Also, choosing a best answer will help anyone who veiws this thread with the same Membraine->Mechanical keyboard problem.
Good luck with the keyboard!
