I hope it's not that long of a wait (2- 3 months)...I'm hoping July at the latest

Well, I got some good news for you. But since this isn't official yet, approach this cautiously.

As per one Chiphell forum member, wjm47196, we might see AMD ZEN 5 chips land in July itself. Previous claims from this same leaker have turned out to to true, so the source can be trusted.

This message was posted intentionally as "Cryptic", without any direct reference to ZEN 5, but I have confirmed this myself from them, as well as few of my internal AIB contacts as well.

Ryzen Zen 5 desktop chips could land up by end of July this year. 😉

Anyway, coming to the point, ZEN 5 CPU lineup is supposed to feature the same core count as the current Ryzen 7000 series, with 16, 12, 8 and 6 cores. There won't be any smaller or dense ZEN 5c cores at least initially.

Only Zen 5 cores.

According to the info, the AMD Ryzen Granite Ridge CPUs should be available in four configurations include the top 16 core part, & followed by 12, 8, and 6 core variants.
