So as the title say i want a good 1000w psu i would like to try and keep it under max 200€ euros but i could go higher if you have a good unit and could tell me why it would be worth it.

I want it to be modular at the moment i am lloking at this one from silverstone

Will this one work good? i know there are "better" ones out there but if this overall wont have any problems or so i think i will go with this one but please suggest if you want and comment on this one

How about http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p11050befx ? Unless I'm doing my math wrong that should be under €200, it's 80+ Gold instead of 80+ Silver, also it's rated higher than the Silverstone Strider series http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1804779/power-supply-unit-tier-list.html

You'll find the XFX under Tier Two/Class A, while the Silverstone is at Tier Two/Class B. I'm using an 850W of the same PSU and I love it, honestly. The hybrid fan keeps it extremely quiet, fully modular, etc. Only complaint I've seen occasionally is that the 850W has flat cables, instead of the bundled sleeves like in a lot of cases. I personally love this feature, but I don't know if the 1050W is the same.

Edit: I'm not actually...

Edit: I'm not actually sure if the XFX is a Tier Two or Tier One. It's a Pro Series Black Edition, and Tier One lists Black Edition, while Pro Series falls under Tier Two. A bit confusing, really. In any case, the XFX is made by Seasonic and rebranded for XFX, so it's very good.

Solution

do you post this in every post i have seen this many times and as it says.

Thankfully, the problem is limited in scope. EVGA claims that any power supply purchased in October or later is unaffected by the flaw, while known-faulty units are limited to the SuperNova 1000 G, 1000 P2 and 1300 G2 models with part numbers 120-G2-1300-XR, 220-P2-1000-XR or 120-G2-1000-XR.

and im not even sure i will buy a evga. maybe a xfx or so or the silverstone gold 1000w
