i want to get a 19" lcd for a reasonable price with absolutely no ghosting, because i am an avid gamer. i would appreciate the suggestions. thankyou.

Take a look at my reply to the HappyPill post in this forum. I mentioned a new Hyundai monitor that may be what you are looking for.

That monitor looks nice but I would be a bit concerned about the 60Hz for digital signal. I personally can not look at a screen for more than 10 minutes if it is set at anything lower than 75Hz.

Another thing to note, If you have never used a LCD for games then you will always notice at least some ghosting when you first transition to LCD.

I have a Nu L921G and when I first started useing it I couldn't stand the reds and smearing. This was corrected by turning down the red a tad and then I guess I got used to it as well. Now I do not even notice it. I have played WWIIOnline, Aces High, DOOM3, Eve Online, and Americas Army on this screen.

Crap, all the good ones are already taken.

To begin the NU L921G is a 25ms panel so that has to be looked at when talking about responsivness for gaming. But it seems to have very good brightness and contrast.

Been using the L90D+ now for almost a solid week for everything from work through games. Yes it runs at 60hz but I haven't had eye fatigue yet. One of my old LCDs I used quite a bit was the Samsung 171v. That ran at 72hz but with lower nits and contrast. It seems that monitor was much harder on my eyes.
Like all else its never black or white.
True about ghosting although at 8ms this new Samsung Panel (used by the Hyundai monitior)is the best in my experience.
Gonna be a while for LDC to break the nano barrier. I just read that there are some experiments on ferrous based panals , technology that replaces the silicon used in most LCD TFTs. That has shown results in the micro sec but the nano is still way out of reach.

LCD panels run at 60 or 70mhz and are flicker free. Not the same as CRT's where higher is better.
